URBAN gardening has been continuously gaining ground in various cities across the Philippines through SM Foundation's "Kabalikat sa kabuhayan on sustainable agriculture (KSK)" program.
Through the KSK program, SM Foundation has successfully trained 27 individuals in SM City Urdaneta Central and 19 others in SM City San Lazaro on urban gardening. For weeks, the farmers have cultivated vegetables in the midst of the city from SM Supermalls' rooftops to community plots.
