SHORT-TERM foreign investment flows remained negative in October, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) reported late on Thursday.

Foreign investments registered with the central bank via authorized agents — also called "hot money" given the ease by which the funds can be taken in and out of an economy — posted a net outflow of $328 million.
