THE Philippines fell three places in the latest World Digital Competitiveness Ranking, with its scores slipping in most of the factors considered in the annual review of how economies are handling digital transformation.
At 59th out of 64 countries, the Philippines' ranking was down from 56th last year. It was also lower than the 55th, 57th and 58th places it secured in 2019, 2020 and 2021, respectively, data from Switzerland's International Institute for Management Development (IMD) showed.
