MANILA Electric Co. (Meralco) on Thursday said that it had started the competitive selection process (CSP) for 1,200-megawatts (MW) of baseload requirement to ensure the continued availability of electricity for its customers.
The Department of Energy (DoE) has issued a certificate of conformity for the terms of reference (TOR) involving 15-year power supply agreements that will take effect once approved by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC).
