Interior Secretary Benjamin Abalos on Thursday ordered the dismissal of Lt. Col. Mark Julio Abong who faced several criminal and administrative charges for his involvement in a hit-and-run that killed a tricycle driver and a gun-firing incident in Quezon City.
Abalos directed PNP Chief Gen. Benjamin Acorda Jr. to implement Abong's dismissal.
