MANILA, Philippines: Veteran Marcio Lassiter knocked down what proved to be the winning three-point basket as San Miguel Beer nosed out a tough Rain or Shine side, 115-110 in the main game of the 2023-24 PBA Commissioner's Cup on Wednesday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Lassiter's triple off an Ivan Aska assist gave the Beermen the lead for good, 111-108 with 43 seconds to go. On the other end, the Elasto Painters missed two crucial field goals and had a turnover during the final stretch of the game as they dropped their fifth straight game to start Season 48.
