International Board on Books for Young People names new PH section

INTERNATIONAL Board on Books for Young People (IBBY), a worldwide network of children's literature advocates, has designated IBBY Philippines (IBBY-PH) as its official National Section in the country.

Having an official status in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization and United Nations Children's Fund, the IBBY has a policymaking role as an advocate of children's books.
