FORMER president and current Pampanga 2nd district Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo may now be considered a key ally in the global fight against cervical cancer.
Arroyo, who is also credited for declaring the month of May as "Cervical Cancer Consciousness Month" in the country, has recently led an immunization campaign against human papillomavirus (HPV) infection in Guagua, Pampanga, to protect learners from the dreaded disease.
