MANILA, Philippines: Meralco has tapped former New Mexico guard Zach Lofton as a standby import for the Bolts' East Asia Super League home-and-away campaign owing to the ongoing visa issues by Suleiman Braimoh.
Bolts coach Luigi Trillo said team management has been working with the Bureau of Immigration to help sort out the Nigerian-American import's visa issues, hopefully, in time for the team's EASL away match versus the New Taipei Kings in Taiwan this Wednesday.
