Himamaylan to help unpaid BSKE staff

BACOLOD CITY: The city government of Himamaylan is willing to help the 211 unpaid support staff hired by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) local office for the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections (BSKE) on Oct. 30, 2023.

'If there is a legal basis, the city government is willing to help in whatever way it can,' Mayor Raymund Tongson said.
