"What if you wanted to hang out with friends or family, were in the mood for active fun, and desired a venue where you could chill, party, and enjoy your share of food and drinks?" It's not like you could head to a sports center, and expect the place to be kept open past dinner time. And you can't head to a regular karaoke place, and expect sports-related games to also be on the agenda. Well, if you haven't discovered it yet, head to the Mall of Asia, visit the newly-opened SM Game Park on the 3rd level of the South Entertainment Hall, and be ready to have all your wildest dreams of Active Fun come true.
Graced by Ms. Olivia "Bong" Coo - Commissioner, Philippine Sports Commission & President, Philippine Bowling Federation, Mr. Brian Tanchanco-President and COO of Taters Enterprises Incorporated, Mr. Luis Timothy Fuentes-Owner, Metro Archery Inc. (PANA Archery), and Philippine Bowling Federation, Mr. Joseph Silva, the opening launch of the SM MOA Game Park highlighted the ceremonial first use of each sport, namely table tennis, billiards, basketball, PANA archery, and bowling.
Designed by award-winning Hong Kong-based design company, Alexander Wong Architects, the Mall of Asia Game Park is the flagship branch, and the fourth location, following the ones that sprung up at SM Southmall, SM City Fairview and SM CDO Downtown. It's 1,947 square meters of colorful, unbridled fun, and it's like an interior designer went crazy with a sports center, and added all these features that now make it double up as a wild party place. To see is to believe, and it's great that the Mall of Asia now has a Game Park so more mall-goers can experience what's been the best kept secret of Southmall, Fairview and CDO Downtown.
There's a 16-lane Bowling area, plus a 4-lane Private Bowling section that boasts of Augmented Reality tech. The AR adds a dimension to how much fun one can enjoy while bowling with friends. There are 6 Billiard Tables in another area, Table Tennis, and an Arcade with Basketball Hoops and E-Darts.
If it's more serious basketball you want, head to the Mini Indoor Basketball Court that's good for 3x3 games. And if you're looking for something different, head to the Archery area, which has been accredited by PANA.
The Game Room has karaoke and dance consoles, plus various games, so that there's a multiplicity of games and options for passing the time at the Game Park. And I did mention refreshments and food; the Sports Bar is run by Taters.
Head to SM Game Park on FB, IG and Tiktok to discover what exciting promos are on offer this month. Book now and discover where the newest, hip party place with active fun can be found.
