GARTNER predicts at least half of all data management jobs will be automated by 2025, and most of them will be completed using AI-powered automation, such as generative language models.
This raises alarm bells for organizations because large language models (LLM) rely on outdated data to generate answers. Despite the remarkable ability of LLMs to create text resembling human language, they are not immune to errors and can generate responses that contain factual inaccuracies. Hence, relying on LLM for work could result in missed opportunities, financial losses, safety concerns in critical applications, and reduced user engagement and satisfaction in customer-centric services.
