MANILA, Philippines: The House of Representatives approved a bill reducing the duration and validity of the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) in terms of its representation to three years from five years.

House Bill 9320 hurdled third and final reading on Wednesday with over 200 lawmakers voting in the affirmative and none in the negative. There were no abstentions.
