Chicken output up 2.3%, cattle output down 1.5% in Q3

THE production of chicken increased in the third quarter (Q3) of this year while cattle output declined, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Tuesday.

Chicken production was estimated at 464,970 metric tons (MT) liveweight in July to September 2023, indicating an annual growth of 2.3 percent from the 454,380 MT liveweight output in the same period of 2022.
