SALARIES for seafarers are rising by at least 10 percent as the crew employment market tips in their favor, according to Danica Crewing Specialists.
The company's 2023 Seafarers' Survey found that salaries for senior officers have increased by 10 to 15 percent, regardless of nationality, compared to its 2021 results. Salary figures are particularly strong for the top four ranks on dry cargo vessels.
