Rescuers to dig new shaft for 41 men trapped for 9 days
Indian rescuers are working to free 41 men trapped in a tunnel in Uttarakhand for nine days. The tunnel is part of Prime Minister Modi's infrastructure project to reduce travel times to Hindu sites and enhance access to strategic areas near China. Efforts to rescue them have so far been unsuccessful, prompting preparations for a new shaft.
