THE National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) led by its Executive Director Carminda Arevalo unveiled the historical marker, "Jose Rizal (1861-1896)," on Nov. 17, 2023, 11 a.m. at the Rizal Monument, Cooper River Park, Camden County, Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA.
The marker states: "Jose Rizal1861-1896: A Filipino hero. Born on 19 JUNE 1861, Doctor, Scientist, Writer, and Educator. Authored works about the ills of the Philippine Colonial Society of the time.
