MANILA, Philippines: The Philippine National Police (PNP) intensified its efforts to prevent the reported proliferation of counterfeit medicines in the market which pose great danger to health and well-being of the citizenry.

In his message during the National Consciousness Week Against Counterfeit Medicine 2023 in Camp Crame, PNP Chief Benjamin Acorda urged enforcers to unite 'against this menace,' as 'we send a resounding message that the health and well-being of our citizens are non-negotiable and must be protected at all cost.'
