MANILA, Philippines: Magnolia Chicken Timplados showed its own version of the never-say-die spirit after erasing a 26-point deficit en route to stunning defending champion Barangay Ginebra, 93-91 on Sunday in their titanic 2023-24 PBA Commissioner's Cup showdown at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
American import Tyyler Bey again stood at the forefront of the Hotshots, who scored, rebounded and played solid defense, helping his team assert its mastery over Ginebra, which for decades has earned the reputation for its never-say-die spirit.
