Village chief shot dead in NVizcaya

SOLANO, Nueva Vizcaya: A 76-year-old newly elected village chief in Calitlitan in Aritao town in this province was shot to death by an unidentified assailant inside his house on Friday, November 17, police said on Saturday.

The victim was identified as Rolando Hipolito Serapon of Purok 3 in Calitlitan village, who took his oath of office as the newly elected village chairman a few days back.
