LPA, shear line to bring heavy rains

Many areas are expected to have heavy rains in the next three days due to the combined effects of the low pressure area (LPA) and shear line, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Sunday.

The LPA, last spotted 465 kilometers east of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte, is not directly affecting the country, Pagasa said.
