La Salle escapes Ateneo, inches closer to twice-to-beat incentive

MANILA, Philippines: La Salle escaped Ateneo, 72-69, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Saturday, November 18 to inch closer to a twice-to-beat Final Four incentive in the UAAP Season 86 men's basketball tournament.

MVP frontrunner Kevin Quiambao and Mike Phillips joined hands to power the Green Archers, who swept the second round and rolled to their eighth straight win for an 11-3 record.
