Ginebra's CStand credits teammates for strong start

MANILA, Philippines: Filipino-German big man Christian Standhardinger got off to a strong start for the PBA Season 48 after spearheading Barangay Ginebra's 100-86 demolition of winless Converge on Friday night.

Showcasing his bullstrong ways that made him the Best Player in last season's Governors' Cup, the 6-foot-8 Standhardinger dropped 25 points, and hauled down 16 rebounds while playing a key role in shadowing Converge import Tom Vodanovich on the way to Ginebra's explosive season-debut victory.
