Aussie envoy leads launch of Baguio's flood warning system

BAGUIO CITY: Australian Ambassador to the Philippines Hae Kyong Yu and Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan, acting city mayor, led the unveiling ceremony of the Asean Australia Smart Cities Trust Fund (AASCTF) Sadjap Water Level Monitoring Station Plaque on Friday, November 17, in Barangay Sadjap, La Trinidad, Benguet.

The station, located at Kilometer 3, is part of the Baguio City Smart Flood Warning, Information and Mitigation System Project currently being implemented under the AASCTF, according to Neeta Pokhrel of the Pacific and Southeast Asia Team, Water and Urban Development Sector Office of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
