THE World Bank has readied $500 million in funds that the Philippines can tap in the event of disasters and climate-related events.
The assistance, called the Philippines Disaster Risk Management and Climate Development Policy Loan with a Catastrophe Deferred Drawdown Option, will particularly focus on the protection of schools, health facilities and human settlements.
