IM Nolte powers Cavite past Isabela in PCAP

International Master Rolando Nolte outwitted FIDE Master Steven Breckenridge in their rapid duel to power Cavite to a 14-7 victory over Isabela in the Professional Chess Association of the Philippines (PCAP) Wesley So Cup online chess tournament held at Chess.com platform on Wednesday, November 15.

Nolte overpowered Breckenridge in 85 moves of a Sicilian Defense, Alapin variation to lift the Spartans to their 17th win in 20 games in the Northern Division.
