Ateneo ousts UE to solidify hold of No. 4 spot

(UPDATE) ATENEO de Manila University eliminated University of the East (UE) from Final Four contention in the UAAP Season 86 Men's Basketball Tournament following an 80-74 escape on Wednesday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The Blue Eagles secured their third straight win to rise to 7-6, strengthening their hold of the fourth spot and forcing at least a playoff for the last semis slot.
