THE "unkabogable" comedian Vice Ganda and her boyfriend, Ion Perez, have been haled to court for alleged violation of the cybercrime law. The hearing will look at the evidence and information presented by the Kapisanan ng mga Broadcasters ng Pilipinas (KSMBPI) in the complaint it lodged against the "It's Showtime" host at the Quezon City prosecutor's office.

Like two horns issuing from one head, the two cases involve a violation of Article 201 of the Revised Penal Code (RPC), which prohibits obscene exhibitions and indecency. This is the same law used against Pura Luka Vega, the transgender who allegedly mocked Jesus Christ in a drag performance and has also been haled to court.
