QUIRINO governor and Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines president Dakila "Dax" Cua was elected president of the United Cities and Local Governments-Asia Pacific (UCLG-Aspac).
Cua was elected during the 9th UCLG-Aspac Congress held in Yiwu, China, from November 13 to 15. He is the first Filipino to assume the role.
