MANILA, Philippines: Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Romando "Don" Artes defended the suspension of one of its officials over the EDSA Carousel Bus Lane fiasco "not because he was doing his job but because he went overboard."
Ret. Col. Edison "Bong" Nebrija was suspended after reports quoted him as saying that one of the vehicles caught along the bus lane belonged to Sen. Ramon "Bong" Revilla and that he was on board at the time of the apprehension.
