Heavy rains expected over Visayas, Caraga once LPA enters PH – Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines: Heavy rains, especially over the Visayas and Caraga Regions, are expected once a low pressure area being monitored by the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) enters the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Pagasa said that in the next 48 hours, the weather disturbance has a slim chance of developing into a tropical depression and directly affecting the country, according to weather specialist Patrick del Mundo.
