Tiongson sparks Terrafirma past Blackwater for 1st win in Comms Cup

MANILA, Philippines: Terrafirma got the much-needed spark from Juami Tiongson, Javier Gomez De Liano and import Thomas De Thaey as the Dyip dumped Blackwater, 97-87 to register their first win in the 2023-24 PBA Commissioner's Cup on Wednesday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

Tiongson, the 2021 PBA Most Improved Player, fired 16 of his game-high 25 points in the opening half to help Terrafirma seize control with its 50-40 halftime lead.
