THE Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) suspended the passenger ship safety certificate (PSSC) of MV Filipinas Cagayan de Oro, owned by Cokaliong Shipping Lines.
Annabell Lagas, regional director of Marina, issued the suspension order and the ship audit. This stemmed from a report from the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) District Northern Mindanao that the RoRo vessel, MV Filipinas Cagayan de Oro, was reported listing while traversing the waters off Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental, at 8:05 p.m. on November 12.
