Grieving May Luna, Nxled stop Akari, snap 5-game skid

MANILA, Philippines: Nxled stopped Akari, 22-25, 25-17, 25-23, 25-16, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Tuesday, November 14 to snap its 5-game skid in the 2023 PVL 2nd All-Filipino Conference.

Despite grieving because of the death of her mother the other day, May Luna, who is set to fly to Davao this night, soldiered on and unleashed her pro career high of 14 points, including the match-clinching attack, to lead the Chameleons, who rose to 2-5.
