Gerflor head coach Sammy Acaylar said the Defenders management had already given a part of their players' delayed salary while the remaining balance will be given this week.
Acaylar and the Defenders took the court on Tuesday, November 14 in the 2023 PVL 2nd All-Filipino Conference, losing to the Farm Fresh Foxies, 17-25, 17-25, 15-25, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum where Acaylar told the reporters the development.
