Carousel lane violators to pay bigger fines beginning today

Manila, Philippines: The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the Land Transportation Office (LTO) began implementing today, Monday, the policy slapping bigger penalties on those who illegally use the EDSA Carousel lane that is exclusively for buses.

MMDA Chairman Romando 'Don' Artes and LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Vigor Mendoza 2^nd personally supervised the implementation of the policy in front of a mall in Mandaluyong City.
