Pagadian City village chief gunned down

ZAMBOANGA CITY: A lone gunman killed a newly elected village chief in Pagadian City, the capital of Zamboanga del Sur province, police said Thursday.

LtCol. Helen Galvez, a spokesman for the regional police office, said the shooting took place in the village of Lapedian at around 6:38 p.m. and killed Rodolfo Dacol.
