THE National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), led by Chairman Emmanuel Franco Calairo, unveiled the historical marker, "Sheik Karimol-Makhdum Mosque in Tubig-Indangan, Simunul, Tawi-Tawi," on Nov. 7, 2023 at 8 a.m.
Calairo officially turned over the marker to Simunul Mayor Wasilah Abdurahman. NHCP Deputy Executive Director Alvin Alcid witnessed the signing of the certificate of transfer.
