(UPDATE) THE Philippine government has accused a China Coast Guard (CCG) vessel of firing a water cannon at a Philippine boat on a resupply mission to Ayungin Shoal on Friday morning.
In a statement, the National Task Force for the West Philippine Sea said CCG and Chinese Maritime Militia (CMM) vessels "recklessly harassed, blocked, executed dangerous maneuvers in another attempt to illegally impede or obstruct" the motor launch Kalayaan.
