THE National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) said Thursday that the implementation of the Mindanao-Visayas Interconnection Project (MVIP) to its full capacity might be delayed once again from its original deadline this year.
NGCP Assistant Vice President for Public Relations Cynthia Perez-Alabanza said the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (Tieza) filed a temporary restraining order last September against the construction of its 230-kilovolt Cebu-Magdugo Line because two of its tower sites that are part of this line are located on Tieza's property, which they intend to develop into a golf course.
