Barely two months of training since their introduction to fencing, four young fencers from the QCSEP Fencing Club topped their respective divisions during the 2023 Alabang Fencing/Canlas Fencing Inter-Club Fencing Invitational held recently at the Canlas Fencing center in Pittsburgh, Quezon City.
Angelica Catalan and Rainer Cadiente won the gold medal in the under-12 women's and men's foil, respectively. Laurence Malbas bagged the under-10 men's foil title and Hans Darren Capricho ruled the under-10 mixed saber category of the tournament.
