BAGUIO CITY: The Benguet Electric Cooperative (Beneco) task force and interim board of directors has appointed assistant general manager Engr. Melchor Licoben as the electric cooperative's general manager following a recommendation from the National Electrification Administration (NEA).
"There was no other candidate, he was the number one choice as recommended by the NEA," said Steve Cating, chairman of the interim board of directors and speaking for the task force composed of representatives from various sectors in Baguio City and Benguet province.
