MANILA, Philippines: The Senate on Thursday approved the P10.4 billion budget of the Office of the President for 2024, including a P2.3 billion allotment for intelligence funds.
Senate Minority Leader Aquilino Pimentel 3rd cautioned, however, that there may be a need to question before the Supreme Court the "legality" of granting intelligence fund (IF) to the Office of the President (OP) being a civilian agency.
