TACLOBAN CITY: Climate walkers crossed the San Juanico Bridge on Tuesday, November 7, in preparation for their last destination, Tacloban City, the site of Typhoon 'Yolanda''s (international name: Haiyan) landfall in November 2013.
The climate walkers, who left Manila on October 8 for a monthlong journey on foot heading to Tacloban, were joined by the Philippine Movement for Climate Justice (PMCJ) and other climate action groups, as well as hundreds of Eastern Visayas residents and activists.
