PH trade deficit narrows in September

THE country's trade deficit narrowed in September as both exports and imports contracted, preliminary data from the Philippine Statistics Authority showed on Tuesday.

At $3.51 billion, the merchandise trade gap was smaller than August's $4.13 billion. It was also lower compared to the year-earlier $4.82 billion.
