Beermen's Vic Manuel is out for six weeks

MANILA, Philippines: Veteran San Miguel Beer forward Vic Manuel is scheduled to undergo knee surgery soon to clean up meniscal fragments, which will keep the 'Muscle Man' out of action for at least six weeks.

SMB team manager Gee Abanilla said the 36-year-old Manuel's knee surgery will be done under the recommendation of Filipino orthopedic surgeon Dr. Jose Raul Canlas.
