MORE sea cows or "dugong" have been sighted at Sarangani Bay, boosting the expanded conservation and protection initiatives in the protected seascape.
Joy Ologuin, superintendent of the Sarangani Bay Protected Seascape (SBPS), said the latest sighting of dugong in the water off the town of Glan in Sarangani province shows that preservation efforts by the local government and environment stakeholders are actually making a difference.
