IN its advocacy of promoting sustainable transportation, Gogoro Philippines, through 917Ventures, has successfully completed its two-month pilot test of the brand's Smartscooter and battery-swapping system. Gogoro Philippines also announced the launch of the first Gogoro Experience Center in the country.

In April 2023, Gogoro announced its official entry into the Philippines through its partnership with 917Ventures, a corporate venture under the Globe Group and Ayala Corp. Along with its entry to the country are its Smartscooter offerings and its proprietary battery-swapping system.
