MANILA Electric Co. (Meralco) saw its consolidated net income in the first three quarters of the year grow by 44 percent to P28.4 billion, from P19.76 billion a year ago, on higher distribution sales and contributions from its power generation and retail electricity supply businesses.
Consolidated core net income, meanwhile, grew by 53 percent to P30 billion, the firm reported on Monday.
