Victolero happy to see Sangalang back

MANILA, Philippines: With veteran big man Ian Sangalang finally back in action, Magnolia coach Chito Victolero finally got his experienced star, who will bring in the scoring, rebounding and defense as the Hotshots shoot for no less than the Season 48 Commissioner's Cup crown.

The Hotshots led by 19 points, then staved off the TNT Tropang Giga's second-half rally to score a 110-102 win, kicking off their championship bid on a high note on Sunday at the start of the new season at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
